On January 31, 2026, the historic backdrop of the magnificent Hofburg Palace will be transformed into
a circus ring of joie de vivre for the 74th Doctors' Ball. Under the motto “A dance for life – a charity night for the CliniClowns,”
we will celebrate life and support those who need assistance and encouragement.
This
year's Doctors' Ball is therefore once again a stage for charity. With show performances, productions, and a ball program
that combines acrobatics, music, and dance. Our grand opening and midnight interlude will immerse you in a world of wonder
where the spirit of the circus comes alive.
Clear the ring for Monika Ballwein × Circus Pikard &
Maria Gschwandtner: Circus of joie de vivre
The circus is here—and with it, joie de vivre! Look forward to a
rousing midnight interlude with renowned singer Monika Ballwein, award-winning artist Maria Gschwandtner, and Alexander Schneller,
circus director with heart and humor from the traditional Circus Pikard. Together they present a show full of acrobatics,
music, and circus magic that will transport you to the colorful world of joie de vivre.
But there are also plenty of
surprises waiting for you outside the grand ballroom – with more music than ever before.
In the ballroom, the Dr.
Krisper ball orchestra will provide waltz dreams, alternating with the lively Broadway Big Band.
The Rudy Tunes will
rock the Forum, Mamas Soul Club will groove in the Ceremonial Hall, the Thrill Seekers will bring swing to the Knights' Hall,
and The Bling-Blings will set the mood in the Metternich Hall. The Jazzophoniker will be walking through the Hofburg as a
walking band, while the Geheime Ratsstube will feature special musical treats with Bernd die Band and the “jazz delicacies”
of SchneiDern. The CliniClown Salon Orchestra, with a “limited“ line-up, will provide very special sounds, alternating with
Whisky and Wine to ensure unlimited entertainment in the Heuriger in the Garden Hall.
For disco lovers, there is Radio
Wien Disco with DJ Alex List, who will ensure the best party atmosphere in the Schatzkammersaal, while in the Salon Campari
you can dance until the early hours to Italo disco with DJ Mel Merio.
