We are delighted to invite you to the upcoming Vienna Medical Doctors’
Ball. Under the title Meet the Medics, we are dedicating the 2024 ball to the important Austrian physician
and Nobel Prize winner Karl Landsteiner. His groundbreaking scientific work has saved millions of lives.
The dedication for the 72nd Vienna Medical Doctors’ Ball will be artistically
realized by the renowned artist
Djawid C. Borower and
three young artists from the University of Applied
Arts Vienna.
Djawid C. Borower enjoys international recognition as a visual artist and has participated
in several Biennials. The established Viennese artist will design the Feststiege and the Festsaal with his unique view of
Landsteiner's work.
The ball will once again be designed by young artists in 2024. Inspired by Karl Landsteiner's work,
three art students from University of Applied Arts Vienna -
Karina Kwapil, Maria Soloviova and Julian Kadrnoschka
- have created
three extraordinary handmade art prints in a limited edition of 3,500. They take a look back
at the revolutionary work of this great physician and scientist. As a visitor to the Vienna Medical Doctors’ Ball, you can
take one of these limited-edition artworks and collector's items home with you.
Be inspired and enjoy an unforgettable
evening!
Meet the Medics!
The Vienna Medical Association and the ball committee look forward to seeing you!

Come in. At the
25hours Hotel Vienna
near the MuseumsQuartier, guests immerse themselves in the colorful circus world of artists, clowns and elephants. The hotel
is their stage. Dreams and sensations have been inhaled and restaged by the Augsburg design team Dreimeta led by Armin Fischer.
Not a trace of clichés. Sexy and surprising, surreal and exotic: vibrant colors, individual vintage finds and exclusive wallpaper
by Berlin illustrator Olaf Hayek characterize the design of the 183 guest rooms and 34 suites. The crowning glory of the spectacle:
The city-famous attic with spectacular views over Vienna's city center and the MuseumsQuartier with the best drinks in town.
RIBELLI serves antipasti from the in-house salumeria as well as Neapolitan pizzas and oven dishes alla Mamma.
