Not much time is left and the doors of the Vienna
Hofburg will be soon opened for the 70th Vienna Medical Doctors’ Ball with the motto
“Musical's Magic”.
Since 2013 a casino is being organized
at the Medical Doctors’ Ball with the motto “Medical Doctors’ Ball goes charity”. There you have the possibility to try your
luck at roulette or black jack. There are lots of great prizes to be won and at the same time you do something good, as every
donation to the casino goes to a different charity organization every year. In 2020 the organisation AmberMed is being supported,
a project of the Diakonie Refugee service, which offers ambulant medical aid to people without social insurance.
The prizes that wait for you at the casino can be found here. A very special prize is this time sponsored by the
"Kurhaus Marienkron" in Burgenland. The one-week holiday package "The small start" for 2 persons with a value of 1.290 Euro
waits for the lucky winner. The Kurhaus Marienkron has reopened last year with a brandnew design und a special medical emphasis
on intestine and health. This way a therapeutical oasis of well being and comfort has been created. The Kurhaus is not only
well received by people with health issues, but also by health-conscious guests who want to do something for prevention. Under

Delicious ice cream from Bortolotti can be enjoyed again this year
for a small donation to the organisation AmberMed. The ice cream stand is as usual next to the Botschafterstiege (Ambassador
Staircase).
Keeping this in mind, we would like to take the opportunity to thank all

A very special service is being
offered for those, who have no dancing partner at the ball: Women, who have no partner (or where the partner has no interest
in dancing) but who would like to dance, have this time the possibility to dance at the ball with a taxi dancer. You can find
our taxi dancers either at their "station" at their table at the Side Gallery or you can find them within the ball crowd.
You can recognise a taxi dancer by his blue bow tie, his blue pocket handkerchief and a pink rose at the lapel. The taxi dancers
will be dancing at the ball from 10 p.m. till 4 a.m.. Their table will be recognisable by a small special "taxi dancer label".
For all those who wish to purchase remaining tickets, our colleagues in the ball office of the
Vienna Medical Chamber (1010 Vienna, Weihburggasse 10-12, 1st Floor) are available
to fulfil your wishes until January 24, 2020 during the following hours:Tuesday & Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Wednesday &
Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
